The area surrounding Andra Långgatan features a highly characteristic blend of residential complexes, public buildings and businesses of all stripes. Andra Långgatan itself is located by the Järntorget square and the docks. The street is renowned for its antique shops, but several restaurants, cafés and smaller shops can also be found here. A nice market-hall is located nearby. You reach the recreation area, Slottsskogen, in a few minutes.

Remember that when you register it is the customer number printed on your rental contract you should use.

Electricity is not included in the rent for the flats. Report to Göteborg Energi AB, tel 031-62 62 62, or on their website
Electricity is included in the rent for the rooms.

Note: It is very important that you make a moving-in notification, otherwise there might be no power in the apartment you move into.

The storerooms for flats are in the cellar. Mark the storeroom with your flat number.

Household wastes/recycling
Garbage and paper should be taken to the refuse chamber in the courtyard. Here there are containers for glass, paper and compostible waste.

Communal kitchen
Those sharing a communal kitchen are responsible for the day to day cleaning. Don’t forget to wash up the dishes and keep the stove clean. SGS Studentbostäder will clean the stairs, corridors and laundry.

The laundry is in the court-yard.
