You are responsible for leaving your home clean and tidy. Here are some tips on how to do it!

Cleaning up yourself? Use the Cleaning Check.
The cleaning checklist and Städkollen (your digital cleaning inspection) will help you succeed in cleaning your move on your own. You will receive feedback immediately after submitting your Cleaning Check. If your Städkoll is approved, you can enjoy the SGS cleaning guarantee. If your Cleaning Check is not approved, you will be told what needs to be improved, and you will be given the opportunity to clean more and then submit new photos of what was previously not approved. SGS cleaning guarantee
When you submit an approved Städkoll or use the cleaning offer from Vital, you automatically receive the SGS cleaning guarantee. This means that you can already know that your cleaning is approved by us.
Cleaning inspection
If you do not submit an approved Städkoll or use the cleaning offer, SGS will check your cleaning through a physical cleaning inspection on the day of the move-out. If our inspection is not approved, we need to order an emergency cleaning via a cleaning company.
Avoid unnecessary costs
When we order emergency cleaning, you as a tenant will be charged for the full cost – and it will be significantly more expensive than if you had ordered the cleaning yourself in advance. The reason is that:
- You as a private individual can use the RUT deduction, which reduces the price by 50% – we as a housing company cannot.
- Cleaning companies charge extra for short notice.
- SGS charges an administrative fee of SEK 1,500 to cover our work in ordering, coordinating and managing invoicing.
