Inspection
Before you move in, SGS will carry out a technical inspection of your home to check its condition and see if anything needs to be fixed. For your peace of mind, you can read the inspection report in the Housing app under “inspection report”.

How do I read the inspection report?
You can find out what applies in the Statement column. Here is a quick guide:
Fully furnished at inspection
The inspection can be difficult to do when the apartment is fully furnished. If the verdict is “yes”, we recommend that you go through the property carefully and let us know if you find anything that is not right.
Approved
All in good order.
Approved with remarks
Minor defects that do not affect the accommodation.
To be addressed by SGS
We fix after moving in. We will contact you for an appointment.
Actioned by SGS and charged
We fix it, but the previous tenant pays the cost.
Actioned by HG or charged
To be fixed by the previous tenant before moving out. Report the problem immediately if it is not fixed – otherwise you take over responsibility.
Controlled by external property owner
Assessment is done by the property owner, if the SGS does not own the property.
