How is the SGS housing app doing?

In February 2025, the SGS housing app was launched for all our tenants. The SGS housing app is specified and customized for you as a tenant and your accommodation. This means that the housing app contains different features depending on where you live.

ALL our tenants can find important information from SGS (in the Notice Board), communicate with their neighbors (in Community), report faults, see the rent notice, chat with AIDA (AI chat), do the Cleaning Check and see specific area information (in Area Info). In addition, it is possible to invite fellow residents in the housing app, so that all functions reach all residents in the home.

Other great features that many, but not all, people have access to are:

  • Take out an electricity contract.
  • Book laundry and common areas.
  • Open the entrance door with DoorControl.

Statistics (from 2025-09-22)

80% of our tenants have downloaded the housing app. 1218 posts have been made in our 60 different communities, and these have generated over 3000 comments.

320 messages with important information have been posted on the Bulletin Board. 2,190 AI chats have been answered, around the clock and in 15 different languages.

What do our tenants think?

In our customer survey, which is sent out to all tenants once a year, we have received both praise and suggestions for improvement. A selection of these comments are as follows:

“I think the community part is great and that the error reporting works well.” (Tenant on Sven Brolids Väg)

“The accessibility of all information interface between the tenant and the landlord via the mobile app.” (Tenant at Rotary)

“Easy to move in and the app has everything.” (Tenant in Gibraltar)

The future

After just over six months with the housing app, we can already see that it enables improved communication, both between SGS and you as a tenant, but also between you tenants. It’s great to see a stronger neighborhood cohesion emerging in each community, and that Aida, our chat bot, helps to sort out both small and large questions and concerns around the clock and in all languages.

The SGS housing app has quickly become a natural part of our tenants’ everyday lives and we look forward to continuing to develop and improve it. In conjunction with the launch of our new website, the housing app web solution is now also integrated. The web solution adapts seamlessly to all devices and provides a simple and accessible experience regardless of whether the user has a computer, tablet or mobile.

Upcoming projects include a better integrated fault reporting function and rent payments directly in the housing app!
